maybe it is just these types of movies that bore me to death. films with huge budgets but tiny scripts and performances. special effects and cliche dialogue keep my youngest son on the edge of his seat but it makes me recline mine hoping to catch a nap. the story is too predictable and therefore it limits the directing and the acting to a re-run of the same old indiana jones, or hollywood hunk saves the world. good for napping and bad for your valuable time if you want something of the highest quality.
