Raiders turns 30. It's been quite an odyssey for me as a fan of both this movie and for movies in general. I remember seeing this film at age 12, not knowing what to expect. (Back then I thought the title dumb. I was 12. Sad.) Today I have nothing but fond memories of this great film. Kids like me wanted to be him 'cos he represents the tenacity and courage we all want to have. Think of the fight in the airfield with the big Nazi bully. I actually shadowboxed along to the choreography. If he can face up to huge challenges, I know I, an emotionally challenged person, can one day conquer mine by not giving up the fight. Thank you Harrison for inspiring me these past 30 years. You've meant so much to me. God bless you!
