One of the strangest movies I have ever seen. Had to watch it twice (yes, I actually did) to kind of get it.....but still not sure I actually did.

People start killing themselves and then come back to haunt their friends and families. Ghosts everywhere.

And this red tape forbidden room is definitely a head scratcher.

But in the end, everyone dies, become ghosts, and the remaining people flee Tokyo and end up on a ship. But if you touch a ghost, you become one too. Almost like a virus.

So my guess is, this is some kind of allegory or something where there is a virus, but the director chose to use ghosts instead.

I will admit the movie is creepy. But the acting is terrible. The dialogue is terrible. The continuity of the script is all over the place including the directing. Very hard to follow.

I recommend it to only those who are curious.
