Prometheus(2012)- User Reviews

I went and saw the 3D version of this yesterday at the local discount theater. Thank the gods I only spent $3.00 on it. The 3D was not over the top with "made for 3D" moments and only occasionally blatantly obvious. The acting, for the most part, was good (no academy awards here). The big problem, as other reviewers have noted, lies squarely on the shoulders of the unimaginative screenwriters. As my title alludes to this could easily have been passed off as a reboot of the alien franchise (though not near as good as the original).

**SPOILER ALERT** from here out. After sitting through the movie I found they couldn't even end it right. Some questions to ponder. What caused the little alien embryo the woman removed from herself to grow as much as it did, in such a short time, with no food? If that same alien killed the other alien pilot in the med chamber of the escape ship, how did the body get moved to the pilot's couch of the alien ship where it was found at the beginning of "Alien"? Why didn't the crew of the ship in "Alien" find a bunch of urns as pictured in this movie, instead of a shipload of eggs? With Ward and the android escaping the planet at the end, does that mean were in for yet another movie in this franchise?
