Ethan Gates is a new student at the prestigious Hillcrest Preparatory School, who gained admittance through a scholarship program. As he is thrown into a world of privileged kids, Ethan manages to adapt with the help of his new friend Collin Craig. Collin, who appears to know all of Dean Stigden's darkest secrets, has used this vital information to stay above the law of the school. But growing tired of his lack of control over Collin, Stigden plans to even the playfield soon, putting Ethan in more danger that he could ever imagine.
