Plan B(1997)

Follows five friends in their 20s and 30s who live in Los Angeles and whose lives have not turned out as they would have hoped. Stuart is a struggling writer trying to become a successul novelist while working as a part-time waiter. Stuart's roommate, Ricky, is a struggling actor who cannot get an acting gig and who frets about getting older and meeting the perfect woman. Stuart and Ricky are friends with Jack and Clare Sadler, a couple desperately trying to concieve a baby without any positive results. And then there is Gina, Clare's younger sister, who has difficultly letting go of the past and cannot stand flying solo at family gatherings.
