Just got out of this movie. I have to say that this 4th installment is lacking a bit in a compelling story but the strong acting and of course Depp is what gives this movie its life raft.
The "epicness" is just plainly missing from this film. I love the Pirates genre but this script was thrown together in a hurry and it shows. Disney will no doubt suck this cash cow dry.
The movie all in all took me away from my every day life though, and thats the number one thing i look for...and it does a damn good job!
They pulled this movie off barley but im afraid this series may be dead at sea (are these pirate puns doing anything for ya?).
BTW there is a scene at the end of credits that is about 5 sec long and is a complete waste of precious life.
