Great cast who make you care about the characters they play. Excellent to superb acting from the leads. This is teenage story about the trials and tribulations of high school told in an intelligent and compelling manner.
I'm not sure how this film stayed under the radar. Should have generated a lot of well deserved buzz. This film takes some surprising turns and twists and has a disturbing undercurrent involving the main character that you don't quite figure out until the end.
The movie also celebrates youth, love, and life in ways that make you want to stand up and cheer. And that's life.
Great sound track, fun dialogue, and a a timeless stage and age made new again. Bravo to all involved. This one's a keeper.
