Passionada is a feel-good movie. It's actually more of a romantic comedy (the video shop classified it as drama), than it is of a drama.
This is actually the first time I've seen Jason Isaacs so laid-back, as he's usually the dreaded villan. Sofia Milos did an excellent job as well, I was sure I've seen her somewhere, but her filmography says she's only done three movies, and the only one I saw out of them was Passionada, so I was mistaken. I wonder why though she hasn't made any more movies after that, I hope to see her again soon.
Emmy Rossum did a fantastic job as a "tramp", but when I see her in Phantom of the Opera, it feels so strange cos she's got an innocent character in that movie, and in Passionada, she's got a more guilty, rascalish character.
Overall, it was a good movie, not worthy of an Oscar obviously, but one that does give you many laughs when you watch it.
