I have to think that many of the high ratings here are from studio employees, because it simply was not a good film. It was both predictable and completely over the top. We nearly walked out time and time again. Some good acting did not compensate for a tired, unfunny script and flat characters.

If you want to watch a smart and funny treatment of multigenerational approaches to child rearing, do yourself a favor and watch the TV show "Modern Family" instead.
