Parental Guidance(2012)- User Reviews

No Oscar material here, but it is funny and enjoyable. Billy Crystal and Bette Midler carry the movie, with Crystal playing the wise #$%$ (and, in the end, surprisingly wise granddad) and Middler playing herself. Tomei played the well-meaning but misguided parent and did well at it, too. You can wait for the DVD but if you are looking for fun and not hobbits or scenes of redemption or adventure, go see it.
