Took my 11 year old son to see this and he enjoyed it - some pretty funny parts to it and very good animation. Be warned it is a serous subject. Norman can see and talk to ghosts of dead people and he is outcast because of it. It is lighthearted at first, but later it becomes more intense. This is not all scooby doo scary humor, but real dead people and a real curse that has to be lifted because some adults did something very bad to a little girl a long time ago - think Salem.
And also, at the very end of the film, they show you one of the characters is gay. Why they threw that in, I don't know. It did not serve the story, they just put a line in at the end.
It is a good movie, for what it is, but I'm not sure what audience this is directed at. I will be very surprised if it does well.
