I must admit that I thought this was going to be terrible. But it was pretty good. The story was more intense than I thought it would be. If you are looking to laugh a lot, then you might be disappointed. There are some laughs but to me it is not a comedy. I liked it. My son wants to see it again, and the crowd actually clapped at the end.
Norman was a nice character and his family were not very supportive. But if you child could see dead people, you might be as frustrated as Norman's father. HIs mother was loving but did not really know how to handle the situation. HIs sister was the stereotypical non-caring teen. I do wish Norman interacted with the ghost more than he did but that is alright. The villain of the movie, well not a villain in the normal since, was scary and her story was very sad and compelling.
