I ver much have to agree with previous reviews that this movie was very much a PG-13 and not PG. A little intense at times for my 5 year old; although she was fine and stated she liked the movie. I really liked it, but I love any movie of this genre. There is language and sexual innuendo you may have to be ready to explain to young kiddos. Overall, it was a good movie and I thought the effects and puppetry were spectacular! The pace of the movie was steady and kept both my young kids interested. The characters were lovable and Norman's friend Neil will remind you of the boy in 'Up' - very memorable.
