Paranormal Activity 2(2010)- User Reviews

I liked part 1, it wasn't great but it was original and different and kept you watching. Part 1 did well in the theater so when heard about part 2 I was excited to see what they could do with a bigger budget as part 1 was super low budget. Unfortunately this is super low budget as well and pretty much a cheap copy of the original except with a different couple, a teen, a baby, and a dog. I was surprised it didn't really have any new effects or twists, basically same stuff you saw in first but without the originality. It seemed really slow to begin as it took a long time before the action even started. I mean the most exciting parts of the first part of the movie were a pool cleaner that ends up outside the pool, a pan than fell in the kitchen, and a door that shut by itself (oooh scary! uh not, actually boring). Overall really disappointing and nothing new presented. I mean is this a ghost, demon, or multiple ghosts or demons? Who knows, who cares. I suppose as long as these super low budget crummy movies continue to earn money they will keep making them. I am sooooooooo glad I did not pay to see this movie (I paid to see part 1). Thankfully I have NetFlix. This was so disappointing that I am really not sure if I want to see part 3 or not.
