listening to teenagers in the 10th grade talking to one another in a small group is less annoying then hearing sixteen year olds on camera act as if they were performing some sort of cheezy anti drug skit in front of there church. when you first hear alex reading from his journal, you think, "maybe this is acting based on if he was saying what he was writing immediately after he finishes each word." but when he is not quoting his journal and i close my eyes for a few seconds to listen to the dialog, i cant differ between the bad journal readings or the boring and bad script. when i rented this movie i was hoping to see something that reminded me of when i was in high school, this movie did not capture it. this movie failed to remind me of the foul mouth, drug using, women degrading teenaged high school boys i remember years ago. i cut the movie off half way through, it felt like good timing as i watched the security guard cut in half, calmly climbing around on the ground staring in to the camera, with his guts hung all over the rail road, kind of how i felt after watching the first half of the movie, not really but this movie was a piece of *****. you know its bad when you would rather watch "Indian in the cupboard"
