This movie, written and directed by the always amazing Guillermo Del Tor is one of the most beautiful and captivating films I have ever seen. The man is a pure genius. Great designs, fantastic acting and some purely amazing cinematics make this small budget movie one of the best films I've had the pleasure of rewarding my eyes with. ANYTHING Mr. Del Tor puts his name on will have my butt in the seats on opening night. He hooked me with The Devil's Backbone, snagged me with Mimic, began to reel me in with Blade 2, pulled me above water with Hellboy and the sequel and put my arse in his boat for life with Pan's Labyrinth.
