Oz: The Great and Powerful(2013)- User Reviews

If James Franco had lived up to expectations this would have been a great movie. The plot was good, the tie-ins to the original were well done, the witches were wickedly enjoyable. The animation created that same sense of enchantment for the Land of Oz. Franco, however, never quite came through as the charming huckster and the scenes that were supposed to show his heart of gold just pancaked.

The animation gets an A, the witches a B+ and James Franco a big F.
