Oz: The Great and Powerful(2013)- User Reviews

Special Effects were awsome but that's not what should carry the movie. There was a serious lack of character development...seems the amnimated charaters were given more consideration for their roles than the actual actors. I don't blame the actors...just a poor script that didn't allow the audience to identify or be convinced by the characters as to who they are. Story seem disjoined. Lacked some fashbacks to help the story and too much focus on a womanizing magician. Kind of spoiled or sidetracked on what should have been other flaws to help build up the hero in the wizard in the end.
