This is the kind of movie that makes you want to cry, but not because of the emotional impact. The acting was so excruciatingly bad that I wanted to leave about half an hour into the movie. I tried to talk my daughter into leaving, but she wanted to see the fight scene. The Oz books are so marvelous, it makes you angry when they take the land of Oz and turn it into a land of cheesy special effects and bland, uninteresting characters.
