Owning Mahowny(2003)- User Reviews

I like Philip Seymour Hoffman, but this was just a bad movie and a bad performance. I mean it's like pulling teeth watching him sigh and breathe and finally deliver the line. I'm sure they tried to keep him close to the personality of the real guy this was about, but it doesn't make for a good watch. There is really nothing to feel good about. You're basically watching a man throw his life down the toilet because he wants to gamble. Not worth the rental.
