Out for Justice isn't as bad as some of Seagal's seen-before action films but there's one element of Out for Justice that isn't in the others: Aikido. The typical cop obviously as the title suggests out for justice to avenge the death …more»0 of 1 people found this review helpful-

Action, action, and more action. Not much of a story, but then again its a Seagal film. He never really has a movie with a story.
If aliens were involved, it might have been better.more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

This movie shows a man who was brought up in a very rough and tough neighborhood defying all odds, turns to law to make a difference for himself, his family and the neighborhood. He is totally in control and those around him realize this. Although his …more»4 of 5 people found this review helpful-

Brutal violence and classic script wrapped into one stunning utterly rewatchable film. The bar scene is unforgettable, and seeing the deserving bad guys get their much needed dues was never more rewarding.
I love it.more»1 of 2 people found this review helpful-

This film is definitely one of Seagal's best. Even if he wasn't out for an Oscar, he was certainly out for Justice. This film is recommended.more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

Along with Marked for Death, Out for Justice is Seagal at his best. This most violent film doesn't really have a plot as Steven simply wanders around Brooklyn beating up people in order to gain information about a crazy drug-dealer (the frenetic William …more»0 of 1 people found this review helpful-

This may be Seagal's best movie to date. Maybe that's not saying much to some, but it is a very good crime movie by any stretch.more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

Steven Seagal's 4th flick is by far his best, with martial arts scenes that are unique, violent, and extremely well choreographed. It don't get better than this! William Forsythe gives one of his best performances as the crazed gang member who …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful
