No surprises here. If you are looking for an urban crime film, "tough cop" is for you. Throw in a cops ties with the mafia, a love affair with two best friends trying to win the heart of one lady who owns a very weird set of pink/red nylon pajamas, issues with your police partner who is bent on destruction, some police abuse of power and a lieutenant who can not solve any crimes, and you have some of the pieces for "one tough cop". It was an OK 1 1/2 hour of cable movie watching. There were no academy awards to be given out for this work but it does provide some entertainment.
