Might be worth seeing Rhys Ifans' and Finn Atkins

This movie was largely unintelligible, although some clever visuals make for a couple of laughs. But new comer Finn Atkins is a dead on little actress whom I expect good things from in the future. Rhys Ifans, though, stunned me. He proved he's capable of being more than a goof and shows some emotional depth in a performance that should get him some more romantic roles. Robert Carlyle actually pulled off menacing just shy of mental illness in a way that despite my inability to understand much of what he said was incredibly effective.

I wish however that I actually CARED whether Carlyle's "Jimmy" was going go postal on Shirley and Dek in the end. Unfortunately, Shirley was so unsympathetic, that she actually overrode my concern for Dek and her child.
