Once Upon a Time in America is a film that chronicles the development of Jewish mobsters from the 1920s through the 1960s. This film has a runtime well over 3 hours and I did not think that the material was compelling enough to justify this excessively long runtime. This is not a terrible film but its material simply doesn't justify its length.
