Old School(2003)- User Reviews

Very "by-the-books" comedy.

Old School is college humor done originally and hysterically. Yet again for a Todd Phillips film, the cast makes the movie. There is plenty to like and plenty to laugh at in this vulgar comedy.

This film has a performance by Will Ferrell unlike any other of his performances. Yes the drum scene in Step Brothers was daring, but that was stated fake. The streaking scene is unbearablly funny and memorablly disturbing. Vince Vaughn surprised me. He was consistantly hilarious. Luke Wilson played a good role too. So was the seemingly Jeremy Piven. As usual, the cameos made the movie better than it was. Elisha Cuthbert, Terry O'Quinn, and alot of other cameos by actors from the Hangover.

All and all, though not strikingly and continuously fresh as The Hangover, this previous Todd Phillips movie is still not to be missed.

Old School: *** stars. 8/10.

rated R for some strong sexual content, nudity, and language.

a lot of vulgar and sexual humor, a fair amount of male but mostly female nudity, and some strong profanity.
