O Brother, Where Art Thou?(2000)- User Reviews

Now, don't get me wrong.....this isn't a great movie, but it's original and fun. Not rip roaring funny, but wink at you funny.

I wasn't expecting much. Having taped it on my DVR two months prior and never watching it because I didn't think it would be worth my time. Boy, was I wrong. I was glued to it, wondering what adventure would happen next to those 3 fellows. About everything does.

My favorite scene is the Wizard of Oz parody. Hilarious. I don't know how the Coen Bros minds work, but fitting that into the story was brilliant.

I kind of expected the Soggy Bottom Boys to pop back up near the end, but even when it's expected, it was still hilarious and I couldn't help smiling and laughing.

Again, not the best movie I've ever seen, but still cute and funny. Very original.

I recommend it only if you have a quirky sense of humor like the Coen Brothers. Probably not for everyone, but I enjoyed it.
