Nowhere to Run(1993)- User Reviews

It's not Bloodsport or Kickboxer, but it works!

Van Damme shows more acting than action in this movie. Always the underdog and always the goodguy. You can't help but enjoy the conflict he faces as he has to decide to save his own hide and continue to run from the law (Sam is an escaped convict), or come to the rescue of a family in need as a real estate developer applies "aggressive" methods to acquire the family's land.

Van Damme does not display the full martial arts arsenal, but he does display surprisingly effective acting as he does not overact in a role that possess more serious evocation than his other martial arts movies.
