Reminiscent of NORMA RAE & SILKWOOD. Believable, legendary, docu-drama. Very worthy. Unfortunately not the kind of film which will draw big audiences.
Outstanding performances by Charlize Theron and Sissy Spacek along with the other supporting cast!

Being born and raised up in northern Minnesota, I thought the film was well done and portrayed the mentality of SOME of the miners in the area. Charlize Theron plays a truely inspiring woman in this film. She is one who stays strong and stands for the rights of women working in the minds - not many people can do that.

I've been around mining operations and this is a false film.
