Disappointing

star33

Having seen the wonderful actress Emmy Rossum in both wonderful roles in Phantom of the Opera and the Day After Tomorrow, I was thrilled to see that one of her lesser-known movies would be debuting on Lifetime. The trailer looked promising and so with high hopes I watched this movie. Unforunately, the movie was less than I thought it would be. Emmy playing a wise-cracking, blunt teenager just doesn't connect with me as well as innocent Christine in Phantom or smart girl Laura in Day After Tomorrow. I guess maybe the entire movie, though with comic moments, just didn't appeal to me. Add the fact that I tried in vain to stay awake the last hour and failed for the last half hour and I know the movie wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be.
