Night Watch(2006)- User Reviews

i have not much to say about this movie other than the fact that it exeeded my expectations in every way. the direction was spectacular, and the story was very unique compared to many films exploring the more fantastical genre. the potrayal of the "dark" side of existance as not necessarily evil, just very different than the light was a nice change from the black and white good vs. evil we normally see. the story was however a little dificult to follow, but in the end, everything was as clear as daylight.
the actors do a fantastic job in getting you attatched to certain characters, so that you have more at stake in certain events and you don't always root for the "good" guy.
this is not so much a movie about an anti-hero though, as it is a movie about what happens when regular people are placed under extreme circumstances. regular, of course, being a relative term.
overall, night watch was a thouroughly enjoyable film, and one i recommend you put on your list.
