Night Watch(2006)- User Reviews

Night Watch is a Russian attempt to make a Hollywood-like blockbuster. To film something like Matrix or LOTR. As for the visuals, they have absolutely succeeded. Overally, the movie is dark and realistic. It is based on three famous books, which means it has a fine script and idea to offer, but it also means that the movie has to explain the phylosophy behind the book here and there, which sometimes makes it a bit slower than an average american blockbuster. The movie is not dumb or one-dimentional, and it is not boring, though it is not a non-stop action either...
If you like to see good visuals in movies, and have nothing again stories about people that have supernatural powers, witches, vampires and so on, I'd recommend you to see this movie, there's no reason for you not to like it!
