OK. Ben Stiller has moved on from his nighttime job at the museum and got onto a better job. This movie is about him going through an adventure with these same museum characters who are being moved into storage at the Smithsonian. It is a fun movie but...like the first one...it's lacking. The comedy is better in this movie than the first in my opinion but it doesn't have the same vibe. The subplots are not as interesting as they were in the first one. Or at least I couldn't get into them. The negatives. As I have mentioned, the comedy is not the best as well as the subplots. I found some of the acting and score cheap and not that impressive. It's simply mediocre. Those are the only negatives that come to mind. The positives. Once again, like the first one, great casting. AMY ADAMS as Amelia Earheart was a perfect choice. But she did not deliver. She had some cheap acting in my opinion, she was a little too happy--she was trying to hard it appears. Stiller does a good job. This is a kids movie and I accept that but that's the reason it's mediocre, because of the cheap acting that a few of the actors had here throughout the movie. But anyway, I am supposed to be talking postitves not negatives sosorry sosorry. The cinematography was good like the first (which I failed to mention in that review). Direction was great. The score was decent. Amy Adams is sexy in this, watch it to look at her. But as far as a kids movie this is pure mediocrity. Still entertaining at alot of points though. RENTAL
