Snippets of New Yorkers and their everyday lives are told in the context of one day,New Year's eve. Two sets of soon to be parents race to the hospital in hopes of having the first baby of the new year, a guy and gal get stuck in an elevator,a woman visiting her father in a hospital watching the fireworks festivities from his cancer ward,a guy treis to find the love of his life that he met one year before,a teen and her mother have a contfrontation in the NYC subway,an electrician gets stuck on the ball that is about to drop in Tims Sq, a woman decides to create a bucket list before she retires,etc etc etc.

A movie similar to Valentine's day for the jet and high speed computor age,its uninteresting but has to be tolerated.

Grade C for crny

    When the trailer came out I thought, "Wow! This reminds me of 'Love, Actually.' " If you haven't seen that, I DEFINITELY recommend it. I stumbled upon it and it is by far my FAVORITE movie. I never thought anything would be the old fave, "The Breakfast Club." :O)
