Not a bad movie, even if this story has been done scores of times before. You know this one: kid gets into trouble at old school, moves to new neighborhood and gets mildly popular, and then the local bully shows the new kid he's not so touch after all. Enter the teacher and the sessions of working out and becoming better, both as a fighter, and as a person until one day, the new guy and the b ully meet up again and...well, you know what happens. Nothing special in this movie, even if it does have a nice soundtrack and the kids look like 90210 material.
SPOILER: There is a point that will differ from other movies of this type, and that is the two protagonists at least end up with something of a mutual respect. Not sure that's what should be expected of conflict, especially when impressionable minds may see this as an example of how to get respect, but I'll choose to think instead that when all's said and done, as least people can learn to live with each other and let their differences be done.
