This movie was sooooo good. I wasn't sure going into it how I would feel about it, but it absolutely and 100% won me over. Michelle Williams was so great in this role it's hard to describe. You need to see it to understand how wonderful her performance was. Not only did she capture the vulnerabilities and complexities of a MAJOR and iconic movie star, but she captured the Marilyn Monroe that you've envisioned in a way that went FAR beyond a caricature. Her performance was beautiful and ultimately very touching...as was the writing and the other performances. This film made me laugh and smile and cry. I LOVED it!!!
