A sad and dreary story of a girl that contracts cancer and how the disease affects each member of the family.In one scene a sibling has to take her parents to court so they can stop using her as a donor match for the cancerous sibling,ie stem cells,bone marrow,etc.In another scene,two cancer patients go to the hospital prom,its a short but sweet romance.The movie also shows the unraveling of the cancer patient's parents' marriage,one blaming the other for taking a break and leaving the hospital and going to the beach.
The movie is realistic abt a girl that didn't make a miraculous cancer recovery,but did reflect on happier times in her treasured family foto album.
Effective acting by cast members,esp the actress of "Eloise at the Plaza".
Grade C for cure
