Synopsis

In this pulpy crime drama, a murder stirs up trouble at London's Cotton Club, threatening the livelihood of its controlling owner. When Steve Marco (Jack LaRue) kills a club employee who was blackmailing him, he also steals a valuable string of pearls. Scotland Yard jumps on the case, and recruits club beauty Ruby Lane (Sandra Storme) to try to retrieve the pearls. However, the club's goons see the exchange, and the result is so surprising that no one could have predicted it! Notable talent in this cast includes Jack LaRue, who developed a reputation in the 1930s and 1940s for playing a series of tough characters, and Bernard Lee, who went on to fame as James Bond's "M."
