I've watched it a dozen times. The casting was perfect and the text wholesomly funny. Ellen is a very funny person ( talented too ) in general. Bill Pullman is beautiful and sooooo subtly funny in this film ( saw him in " Serpent and the Rainbow " and " Lake Placid ", both of them awesome movies ) . It makes me want to fall in love w/him, even though he is insane. Joan Cusack is perfect for insanity. It's excellent for us ' single ' women !!!!! I bought it for the home. No matter how many times I watch it, It ALWAYS makes me laugh !
