It had been a long time since I watched this and decided to refresh my memory. Bernie Mac stars as a Milwaukee Brewers baseball player named Stan Ross. After making his 3,000th hit, he decides to retire. Nine years later, he finds out that there was a clerical error, and he retired with 2,997 hits. Stan tries to get back in shape and finally earn his nickname. I highly recommend MR. 3000!!!
