I'm amazed about the unanimity of the movie crtitics about this one, but I think that all it shows is that they all share the same evaluation grid. And since the movie doesn't fit the grid, it's better to declare it a horrible movie rather than trying to acknowledge that the grid is wrong.
Do you remember John Cleese the "Ministry of silly walks". If you found that hilarious and you wonder how he managed to deliver his lines with a straight face while doing these crazy walks, and think that you'd never be able to do it yourself if you were an actor, then you may enjoy Movie 43.
Because instead of silly walks, it's just ten times more crazy, disgusting, bad taste, whatever, yet the acting remains impeccable. And you wonder how many times they had to cut and redo a scene because an actor just exploded laughing and went "Sorry, I don't think I can do THAT".
And frankly, any Hollywood movie that doesn't end with the predictable killing of the bad guy is like a breath of fresh air.
