If you did not like Rushmore or Life Aquatic you will not like this. His formula works and makes a nice charming piece of art for the screen. A movie for people who expect more from their movies. This is not a cute quirky love story with a big soundtrack and a happy endy. Anderson really puts all of his previous successes into one solid film. Surprisingly funny. Only sorry I had to see it in one of those garbage art house theaters.
