Moon(2009)- User Reviews

This was a good film. Slow-paced, but not boring, it does well to establish the main character of Sam Bell before moving on into a plot line that, without much action at all, manages to hold your attention throughout the course of the film.

I don't want to get into too much detail about the plot (though I noticed that Yahoo! already let some of the cat out of the bag; the other reviews no doubt gave you even more) but this is the type of movie that, while being forewarned that it isn't action or horror but more thought-provoking, viewers should experience in full for themselves.

Minimalist and well made, this film is enjoyable for more qualities than most bad movies should be criticized for. The direction and visuals were more than acceptable, but the story and acting carry this film, breeding an odd form of characterization that is both amusing and effective in its delivery.

I recommend this film to anyone who enjoys sci-fi and isn't looking for a large scale, Independence Day style movie.
