My wife and I went to this movie for two different reasons, I went for the baseball story, she went to see Brad Pitt. We were both extremely happy! Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill were great together, and the story was fascinating. I loved the scenes of the "old" scouts talking about the players and trades to be made. It really brought to light the way baseball works, more as a business than a pure sport. Sometimes it reminded me of the days when we traded baseball cards when we were kids. The idea of statistics and computers ruling the game, was interesting and logical when you think of everything else going on in the world. I just loved the excitement of the winning streak, and the entire story was great. It is well worth seeing, and Philip Seymour Hoffmann as Art Howe was a bonus.
