great casting but story direction a little disjointed. Was not sure about Brad Pitt as Billy Beane but he pulled it off nicely. Hoffman as Art Howe was inspired. Finally, Jonah Hill was perfectly cast as the nerd but in a non comedic role her handled flawlessly.
