The plot: It sucks. If you want to see that kind of movies, rent "The Emperor`s club". Far better, plot, story and acting. And it`s in a school too. A typical teacher who wants to change the world of dumb snob girls.
The acting: Julia Roberts sucks in this movie. JLo can do her part better. It`s her weakest job in years. Mary Jane steals the movie, great performance, a preparation for Spiderman 2. Julia Stiles, the same as always. The other actors did a great job too. The fat student was one of my favorite performances. And the husband too, he always looked like he did not wanted to be there. The poorest: Erick from that 70`s show. He made the same performance as the weekly show, so he did not improve in a movie.
The visuals: Very good, you feel like you were in the 50`s.
Overall: It`s ok for a rainy day. My wife fall sleep. It`s not original, it`s boring and as i said before, if you compare this film to Emperor`s Club this is BS. Not recomended for Diesel�JetLi-Arnold fans. Not recomended for thriller fans. Just for old people or young people with boring movie preferences.
