i totally disagree with the above so called critic the only thing wrong with the film is it didnt explain why the terroist wanted to blow up the planet . well done and worth buying personally between this and sherlock holmes game of shadows this is the better film. worth getting.

TOM looked GREAT and the spy technology and action was cool and Simon Pegg was Simon pegg, which is great and witty.
They did a good job with the script and cast, I will be buying the DVD.

Haven,t seen it yet but i enjoy most any movie Tom Cruise is in my all time favorite though is Top Gun .

I loved the movie: the story, the actors and actresses, and the concept of the premise. I was a bit shocked and taken aback that the movie character for the U.S. Secretary of State was murdered in cold blood. That alone would put the U.S. on "war alert" and there would be a Presidential decision called at once to respond or retaliate with more than diplomatic language of 'grave concern' in short time. But, the plot covers days, if not, weeks. That stretches credibility, but I liked the way the plot unfolded, and the charming touch at the end with Tom Cruise's character connecting with his ex-wife. It was melodramatic in a good way after such a tense action movie. As always, I liked Tom Cruise for his focused attention on solving the critical elements of the problem at hand and his leadership ability to take control of a situation that appears near-seeming to fail, but like the old cliffhangar serials, saves the day and the moment ! That is good theater and good acting that makes you care about the characters. The female lead actress was ever bit as beautiful and charming and intelligent !

I loved this movie and I don't even like action films normally. I went with my Dad and my son and we all loved it. Non-stop action and thrilling. Don't miss it.
