A movie that is part documentary and part fiction of an Arab school mistress who cares for orphans in her Middle east town. One star pupil is Miral a youth that is brought to the residential school by her adopted father for a better life.

Regurgitated swill while visually impressive, in-accuracies are over abundant and political tilt is very obvious. Not a bad movie but.......
users are actually titling their reviews with things like 'Surprisingly true' and 'the truth revealed'.

Miral would have been an A rating all the way if it weren't photographed as if it were a pseudo documentary, with herky jerky camera movements throughout. The camera rarely stood still long enough for you to become engrossed in the characters. …more»0 of 1 people found this review helpful-
