Why did Woody choose to have a greek chorus sing in his movie and play a large role? How know, but I love it all the same. Mighty Aphrodite tells the story of Lenny (Woody Allen, in his great usual nerotic role), a sports writer, who becomes obsessed with finding his son's biological mother, and is shocked to find she's a high-spirited hooker (Mira Sorvino in an excellent role, she totally deserved the Oscar). Anyone who enjoys Allen films should see this, and look for F. Murray Abraham, hilariously leading the greek chorus
