I've been a Woody Allen film fan from the start, including Sleeper and Annie Hall all the way through Vickie Cristina Barcelona. But Midnight in Paris has to rank with one of his very best. It's a simple story/moral, but rings very true. Excellent …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

OK, I love Paris, what's not to like. Scenery was beautiful, just like the women in the movie, but other than that, if anyone was entertained,then I'm missing what movies are supposed to be. I want my money back.more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

An homage to Woody, but Woody is too old to play himself. A truly boring performance where Owen Wilson even talks like Woody. While this one doesn't stand up to his best most thought-provoking and layered work, I found this one to be the most charming Allen movie in a very long time.
